You may find that you need to “book personal time” into your diary. Like work, we faced demands on our time by others, and there is a need to manage this else you end up at the beck and call of everyone else. Not an easy task to do, but for personal sanity may be your best option.

I used to keep my parents keys in my car, and my wife used to do the same in hers… the problem comes when you drive your wife’s car… (or in my case, the vehicle that doesn’t have anyone’s keys in….) Good thought though!

Perhaps it’s just Darwinism in action – it’s just terrible that these people (being animal lovers) don’t consider the very things they are supposed to care about.

Back in the day I used to get good action shots using my film SLR with a 200 or 300 lens. Brands was particularly good – infield at Druids you had the pick of locations plus because it was the inside of the corner (so cars never came off in your direction!) there was no fencing to get in the way (assumes wistful expression…).

Note to self – find those old prints in the loft and scan some onto the website!

having tried photography at Brands Hatch, I agree that even a decent camera with a zoom lens won’t help. the really good angles tend to have camera points set up… and you need a really big lens to make those worthwile as well!
